This list really reinforces something we’ve believed for a while: AI has a handful of use cases with strong product-market fit. Customer support, coding agents, search, and image/video generation. Honored that @fal is included alongside such generational companies.

If you’re a Product leader trying to understand where AI actually impacts your roadmap, the just released ET30 2026 report from Wing Venture Capital and Eric Newcomer is one of the clearest snapshots of where enterprise AI is heading.5 trends that stood out to me:1. AI agents are moving into production The shift is from copilots to systems that can execute tasks across customer service, GTM, finance, and IT. The focus now is on reliability and deep workflow integration.2. Inference is becoming a core layer of the stack As AI moves into production, running models efficiently, with low latency and at scale, is becoming a key differentiator. A new set of companies is emerging to support this layer.3. Vertical AI is gaining real traction Startups are building directly into industries like healthcare, legal, insurance, and accounting, taking on end-to-end workflows rather than just augmenting existing tools.4. A new builder ecosystem is formingThere’s rapid growth in tools for developing, orchestrating, and evaluating agents, alongside no-code platforms enabling broader adoption across non-technical teams.5. AI-native services models are starting to emergeCompanies are beginning to sell outcomes rather than software, using AI internally to deliver services more efficiently and at scale.Multiple Product leaders on my podcast have echoed these points. Proud moment for the Pace team.I’ve followed the ET30 list since before founding Pace as they have a track record of spotting the defining companies early. Looking back at the 2019 list they highlighted @Snowflake @datadoghq and @figma

 before they went public.What stands out about this year's cohort is how much of it is vertical AI. Purpose-built AI for specific industries isn't a bet anymore and is rapidly becoming the dominant pattern in enterprise software.Seeing Pace alongside friends at
