We’ve seen it time and time again: meaningful early intervention, when founders are just breaking ground on a powerful idea, expands longterm potential. Founders, especially those in the pre- and seed-stage to Series A space, face monumental challenges. Wing exists to help founders navigate those choppy waters. Say the quiet thing out loud, even when it’s hard or uncomfortable–but only if it's valuable. Unbridled negativity isn’t welcome at Wing, and candor without tact can be cruel. Do what you say you will do.

World-class networking opportunities

Rajeev Chand leads the research team at Wing and is responsible for creating valuable moments for founders, senior executives, builders, and potential customers to meet each other and people from other communities in the startup ecosystem.

Rajeev and team also develop deep insight into topics most relevant to Wing’s investment areas, including early-stage startup trends, emerging industries, and top performing companies to open-source and share with the broader founder community.

Sunil Chokshi leads our talent program, with a focus on delivering the highest quality introductions to candidates for hiring programs that matter, as well as create career-long relationships with talented folks.

To do that, we use a high-touch approach, engaging with teams early to find and anticipate needs, connect teams to talented executives, launch the search process, and support founders throughout the process of finding the absolute best hire possible.

To date, we’ve completed more than 100 successful portfolio hiring programs, and made thousands of introductions between portfolio companies and rising stars, proven executives, and advisors. We also have proprietary software to help early hiring teams access untapped pools of IC talent.

Marketing and brand

Kayleigh Karutis

For moments that matter most

Our marketing and brand program focuses on helping Wing portfolio companies in few key initiatives—launches and PR, brand development, product-led growth fundamentals, and user- and customer-acquisition programs.

We engage 1:1 to amplify founder and portfolio company visibility at moments it matters most, while also providing team-wide coaching and development on marketing programs to help accelerate growth.

Wing company Tango is a great case study: we helped them land a major hit in TechCrunch, and launched them on ProductHunt, which contributed to the company’s winning Product of the Day, Product of the Month, and being runner up for Product of the Year. That visibility accelerated their signup growth, signing up more than 10,000 accounts on their launch weekend.

Business intelligence

Giving you an unfair advantage

Tiffany Tai heads our business intelligence and benchmarking efforts, drawing on her experience leading SaaS apps including Canva, Dropbox, and InVision to help Wing founders make better business decisions.

In her role, she helps founders and their teams identify different market trends that may impact them, hunts for ways to improve operational efficiency and boost customer satisfaction—critical needs for early-stage startups—and provides feedback on how the data a company is gathering could be analyzed to help inform decision-making.
